I’ve been flying through the Millenium trilogy, aka The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo series. Its pacing is somewhat inconsistent, occasionally going into lengthy, meandering exposition to set up a significant plot point, or dumping an intricate history of a newly introduced character in your lap all at once. But those complaints are minor, because the series’ highs are significantly higher than its lowest lows!
I think Lisbeth Salander is a fantastically fleshed out character with a great back story and a personality that makes getting through all the Salander-less chapters almost a chore just so I can get back to more of her anti-social antics!
